The church pictured below is located in the Southern Albanian city of Sarande
in an area sometimes called the "Albanian Riviera".
Sarande is located about two miles from the Greek Island of Corfu
on the Ionian Sea off the Mediterranean Ocean.
The Southern coast of Albania is one of the most
popular tourist destination in Albania. Two more of the
most popular Albania attractions are historic Butrint
National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and
Dajti National Park near the Albanian capital city of Tirana.
