About Corvo Island
Corvo Island island has about 1000
residents the main sources of income are
cattle ranching and wine growing. Corvo
is very remote... the island has only had electricity
and phone service since the early 1970's.
Hotels on Corvo Island
The only accommodations I have found so far on Corvo
Island are in a small, seven-room guesthouse.
Transportation to Corvo island
Access to Corvo is either by boat or by plane.
The boat trip from Flores Island to Corvo
takes about 45 minutes and there are flights to
the Corvo Airfield from Faial Island
and Flores Island several times a week..
