Ice Hotels in Norway

Information about Norway hotels made of ice and show. There are three ice hotels in Norway, the Kirkenes Snow Hotel, the Bjorli Ice Lodge, and the Sorrisniva Igloo Hotel.

Bjorli Ice Lodge
The Ice Lodge of Norway is located on the northern edge of Geirangerfjord Fjord, in the village of Bjorli. It is open longer then Norway's other ice hotels because of its high altitude. It is located within the boundaries of the Dovre-Sundalsfjella National Park.

Kirkenes Snow Hotel
The Kirkenes Snow Hotel opened in the winter of 2006 and is located near the border between Russian and Norway.

Sorrisniva Igloo Hotel
Norway's Igloo Ice Hotel is located in Sorrisniva about 20 kilometers from the center of the town of Alta, on the banks of the Alta River. The hotel usually opens in about mid January.
