Arsenal Adventure Park
Adventure park and hotel built on a former military base.
Offers a complete military experience including
boot camp style training, firearms shooting, Bow and arrow shooting,
armored vehicle rides, and airsoft and paintball gun target shooting.
Other activities include dirt bike riding, evening campfires, an outdoor fitness park,
miniature golf, spa treatments, an outdoor movie theater, billards,
treasure hunting, and a children's play area. Offers a wide range
of accommodations including standard rooms, apartments, vilas,
and military theme rooms such as a cannon room and a bed inside an armoured vehicle.
Located near the town of Orastie in Hunedoara County.
Brasov Advnture Park
Outdoor sports and activity center with fourteen
progressively difficult tracks. Has four purple track
designed for children age 8 years and under, one black
track requiring maximum strength, technique, and
endurance, and several levels of tracks in between.
Tiurda Salt Mine
After this underground salt mine was abandoned in 1932
it was used at varius times as an anti-aircraft shelter and
later as an underground cheese storage warehouse.
In 1992 it was developed as a tourism site and today
it has a huge lighted gallery area with amusement park rides
and a museum featuring the history of salt mining in
Romania.
Terra Park
Large amusement park in built on the former
site of the Rami Dacia Synthetic Diamond Factory.
It is divided into four areas: Indoor Fun,
Child Adventures, Family Fun, and Extreme Rides.
Terra Park first opened in October of 2011.
