DESCRIPTION:
Easy, half-mile long paved walking trail leading to a viewpoint overlooking the 1200 feet high Iao Needle geological feature. The trail begins near the Iao Valley State Monuement restrooms and interpretive signs. It continues along the Iao Stream, passing over a bridge, through an ethnobotanical garden and climbing to a viewpoint with a small shelter.
