FROM THE ORGANIZERS: Since we cannot have the real thing this year, we are going to try to keep the aloha spirit alive and host our first ever Virtual Cycle To The Sun.
FOR RIDERS ON MAUI: you will do the actual CTTS route starting from traditional start on the bypass road and finish at the uppermost parking lot on top of Haleakala. Most of you know the route but if you have any questions just ask and we will be happy to help. Just as in the real race we will award prizes for the top finishers based on age group and gender.
FOR RIDERS EVERYWHERE ELSE: Since most of you probably don't have a 10,000' mountain in your back yard, we are going ask you to complete a ride of the same length as the Cycle To The Sun route - 36 miles. Any ride(except downhill only) will count so don't worry about the vertical. Riders with the fastest 36 mile ride will receive prizes based on gender and age group.
