The 13th annual Duke's OceanFest was held at venue sites throughout Waikiki, from Saturday, August 16, through Sunday, August 24, 2014.

The 9-day event featured a variety of ocean sports that were close to Duke Kahanamoku's heart: Longboard Surfing, Paddleboard Racing, Swimming, Tandem Surfing, Surf Polo, Beach Volleyball, and more.

Duke's OceanFest is held each summer in Waikiki in honor of Hawaiian Duke Paoa Kahanamoku, who is remembered as the greatest waterman who ever lived, and Hawaii’s ambassador of Aloha.

Duke’s OceanFest offers ocean and beach competitions and special events that Hawaii residents and visitors can enjoy as fans or, in many cases, as participants. The offerings include surfing competitions for kids, teens, amateurs, and pros, stand-up paddling, one-mile ocean swim, lifeguard competition, surfboard waterpolo, wounded warrior canoe regatta, paddle boarding, beach volleyball, beachside movie showing of The Endless Summer, and a luau.
